Designed by David Dolcini 2023It is the expression of the strength of a simple gesture. A magical object in its essentiality that is at the same time profoundly rich. It arises from a strong and pure idea, which takes the Japanese art of kirigami paper cutting as its starting point. A single sheet of paper, through a linear fold interrupted by a hole, gives life to an organic three-dimensional surface.

David Dolcini was born near Milan, Italy, into a family with a rich legacy in craftsmanship and production, David's journey in design is deeply rooted in his heritage. His approach to design isn't just academic; it's a blend of the rich educational experiences he gathered worldwide and the practical knowledge gained through years of professional work.
David's design philosophy is singular. He dives deep into the technical aspects of each project, blending his knowledge of materials and production technologies with a broad spectrum of research that spans from art and history to craftsmanship and science.
After graduating from Politecnico di Milano in 2004, David stepped into the design world, initially working with Luceplan as a project manager and later with A00-Architecture in Shanghai. In 2007, he embarked on a new adventure, founding his own brand, DAVID DOLCINI. His studio specializes in product and industrial design, interior design, installations, and creative direction, collaborating with renowned companies like arflex, Porada, Bric's, Panasonic, and Luceplan.
